How It Began...

As a kid I followed my Dad around, all weekend long, doing projects around the house.  My career was built, literally, from the ground up, in 2004 when we started building custom houses together.  We noticed a lot of families looking to purchase new, well-constructed homes with high design standards.  By engaging the services of experienced outside contractors and maintaining a hands-on approach to supervising the development of our projects, we built five family homes in South East Oakville.  In 2007, together with Gren Weis Architect we were awarded an Oakville Urban Design award for three house's we'd built.  I have extremely high building standards and a philosophy of "building as if I was building it for myself" and it's reflective in the work.

In 2008- 2010, I managed renovation and new build projects for a high-end builder in Toronto.  Coordinating Projects with budgets ranging from a couple hundred thousand to over two million, I honed my skills in budget and schedule management, working closely with homeowners, architects, designers, suppliers, and trades.

In 2011 I launched my consulting business, having observed a huge need for someone to provide guidance and advice through the renovation process.  I love helping people to "work with what they've got," whether it's small changes like new paint colours, or a full blown renovation, a home should be a reflection of those living there and loving it!
